Kevin & Jenny John – Perkins-Brown Ltd completed our glazed oak-frame extension in 2021. They worked with us from design stage all the way through the build to completion and beyond.

They were thoroughly professional, being on-time, leaving the site tidy at the end of each day, as well as keeping to their quoted price.

James kept us informed and fully consulted at all times, as well as providing valuable professional insight and suggestions where these were required. A small amount of follow-up work was required which was carried out swiftly and successfully.

Contemporary Extension to Cob Cottage

Simon & Kay Wisker – James did a wonderful job during the renovation of our 16th century cottage. He interpreted our design ideas, turning them into beautiful timber structures that have given the cottage a period feel while conforming to modern building standards.

His design, carpentry and leadwork skills are exemplary. He also designed and constructed a stunning green oak timber framed garage/workshop which is now the envy of the entire village. We would thoroughly recommend him…

Trevor & Gill Edgington – Our Garden Room is now the most used part of our house and links the House and Garden beautifully. The use of Oak helps it sit comfortably in it’s setting. When we set out our vision for the room James seemed to understand what we wanted and the design has delivered.

James kept us informed during the construction of the frame and sips panels and despite building in November they were able to get the structure weather tight in just one day. 
 
They were considerate and thoughtful builders, leaving the site tidy and weather tight each night. The carpentry skills were exceptional and it’s great to be able to see the joints and dowels on view.
